Hana Professional 1" Ceramic Flat Iron Review & Giveaway

So the nice people at Misikko were gracious enough to send me the Hana Professional 1" Ceramic Flat Iron to try out. Upon receiving the item, I noticed how carefully packaged everything was and they even threw in a few extra goodies. Misikko has a wide range ofprofessional straighteners which include brands like the Chi straighteners and Corioliss flat irons. Misikko also recommends some of the best flat irons in the market.
Though I have long and naturally straight hair, my hair lacks shine and body. I never really bothered with flat irons since I assumed they would make my hair look even more flat and dead. I applied the serum just on the ends of my hair (using too much can make your hair greasy) before straightening it. A little pea size is all you need to cover the entire area. However, after using this flat iron alongside the Shine Shield serum, my hair looks straight, sleek and shiny.
This flat iron not only makes your hair look healthy and shiny, they can actually add extra body. When doing the roots, simply glide the flat iron upwards and away from your scalp and BOOM, instant volume. It stays straight and voluminous the entire day so don't worry about your hair getting flat.
Another thing I don't like about my hair is that it doesn't hold curls for more than a few hours (even with hairspray). This is where I really put the flat iron to the test. To my surprise, this flat iron can give you either voluminous but straight hair or can give you sexy curls. To curl your hair with this flat iron, simply twist the hair in a circular motion away from your face and you are left with soft, bouncy curls. I'm not kidding you when I say this but my curls lasted all day and didn't start to straighten out after a few hours which is what I used to experience with my curling iron. So in reality, this is not just a flat iron but can also be a curling iron as well. It's like getting two products in one.
The Hana Professional Flat Iron comes in a tin case and included is the heat proof travel case and heat proof silicon mat. It has an on and off switch on the inside on the barrel so you don't accidentally switch it off. The red light inside the barrel tells you when the flat iron is ready to be used. The travel case is light and handy when you want to travel with it and the heat proof silicon mat stays flat and prevents the flat iron from ruining the tabletop surfaces when you put it down. The flat iron heats up quickly and ranges from 140 - 450° F. I used a heat setting between 300-350 to straighten and curl my hair. Using this flat iron requires very little effort because it doesn't snag my hair or create static and I can finish my entire head of hair in less than 10 minutes.
Overall, the Hana Professional 1" Ceramic Flat Iron has really impressed me. If you don't have much time and don't want to spend too much effort but what straight sleek hair or bouncy curls, this flat iron is for you. Rarely do I ever find a product that I love this much but this flat iron is really what it lives up to be.
